IPL new record courtesy Prithvi Shaw

The Delhi Capitals young and dynamic batsman Prithvi Shaw created a new record hitting 6 fours in an over. He as has done this in the 1st over of the innings which is 1st of its kind recorded in IPL. Shaw has shown immerse skills in doing that as he is not power hitter like Russell or Pollard, he relied on his ability of timing the ball and choosing placements in the field to get pass the boundary six times against Shivam Mavi, one of the pacer from KKR(Kolkata Knight Riders).

His flawless inning with partnership of 132 runs with Shikhar Dhawan helped DC (Delhi Capitals) pick 7 wickets win over KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders).

KKR batted first and posted a modest total of 154-6 in their 20 overs. There was a late surge in final overs as Andrew Russell smashed 47 runs in 27 balls which includes 4 maximums. But in the end it was not enough for KKR as DC chased the score comfortably. The match happened in Delhi. For his blistering knock of 82 runs in 41 balls Prithvi Shaw was awarded Man of the Match.
