Due to continuous rise in the number of cases, the government of Andhra Pradesh has decided to foist a partial curfew from May 5, Wednesday for a period of 2 weeks. Shops and other establishments will be allowed to operate just between 6 am to 12 noon. Section 144 will be imposed during these hours. Only emergency services will be allowed to after 12 noon.
This decision was taken by the Chief Minister as the no. of cases of Covid-19 is on a rise and to cut down the chain this is considered to be the needful move suggested by the health department.
Meanwhile India stands second with 20.3M cases of Covid-19 with 16 million recoveries and 222k causalities. Andhra Pradesh had 1.16 million cases with 1 million recoveries and 8207 deaths so far.
